One of the fundamental SEO tactics is the research keyword or keyword search. A keyword research is the simplest way to understand the terminology that your potential customers are using to find the products you sell, ranging according to the content of your site and your marketing terminology.

Every time someone does a search, the search engine must decide which results are most useful and how to display hundreds or thousands of possible pages. This comes from algorithms that determine the best and most relevant matches for each search. This is the main reason why it is important to choose your keywords carefully, so that search engines can be match with you and show your site in the results.
Not only is it important to be present on the first page of search engine results, it is equally important to be present in the top positions on the first page. To understand the difference that can make a position in these pages, consider the graph show below, where the positions of searches and traffic have shown:
From this graph we learn that the results of the first page receive more than 90% of the traffic and the top three positions receive more than 60% of traffic.
